Dr Peter McCarron qualified from Queens University Belfast in 1993. He then completed an extra training year, Vocational Dental training. He held various associate positions while he developed his skills further. Training in Gothenburg, Sweden with Nobel Biocare and then spending a year working with Professor Wise (a restorative specialist) in Wimpole St, London. As well as Professor Keiser (a gums specialist), Dr Gurel (a veneer specialist) from Istanbul and Dr Webber (an endo specialist).
He assisted with his first Implant placement in 1993 and completed his Certificate in Dental Implantology in 2003. He has since placed hundreds of Implants and was invited to join the Association of Dental Implantology in 2004. In 2006 he achieved membership of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has lectured fellow colleagues on Implants.
His passion is making dentistry gentle and beautiful and 2009 saw the publishing of his first booklet "The secrets of a Beautiful Smile"
